Liz Barker

Chartered Physiotherapist / DIRECTOR
Clinic Director at OneBody Physiotherapy, is a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). With a background in sports and degrees in Sport Science and Physiotherapy, she brings years of experience in injury diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation
planning. Liz has a particular interest in pain management and menopause, using hands-on therapies, acupuncture and activity guidance to support recovery. She takes a holistic approach, working to identify the root cause of pain and tailoring treatment to each individual, whether that involves
Shockwave Therapy for tendon issues or Pilates-based  rehabilitation for back pain.

Alison McGurk

Chartered Physiotherapist
Is a Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Alison qualified in London and  particularly enjoyed Hydrotherapy. Whilst working in South Africa, she helped reintroduce the Hydrotherapy service to the community hospital, where she treated a wide range of conditions from gunshot wounds and stabbing, to knee and hip surgery. On her return, her love of aquatic therapy continued, and she has been working with complex neurodisabilities and post-surgery. Alison has worked in private practice for several years and not only has a special interest in hydrotherapy, but also in 1:1 Pilates, especially following surgery and after a diagnosis of osteoporosis or treatment for breast cancer.

Ryan Crowther

Chartered Physiotherapist
Ryan is an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who has worked in the military for several years, and so is used to the pressure of working with clients who need to return to sports/function quickly yet safely. Not only is Ryan excellent with his rehabilitation programming, but he also utilises hydrotherapy where appropriate with his clients. Ryan's military experience has given him great experience working with a younger population suffering from overuse, repetitive, and sports injuries. He uses his skills to formulate a tailored rehabilitation programme to get people back to activity and sport quickly and effectively.

Mark Lesniak

Sports Massage Therapist
Mark is a qualified Sports Massage Therapist, certified through the prestigious YMCA programme. Whether you're a professional athlete or simply enjoy staying active, sports massage can play a vital role in your fitness journey. Using a range of techniques helps to improve performance, prevent injury, aid recovery and reduce stress. Mark offers flexible clinic

Eddie Twyman

Chartered Physiotherapist
An experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist with extensive knowledge in orthopaedic and paediatric cases, and a strong interest in rehabilitating young athletes. He specialises in orthopaedic conditions and sports injuries, and takes pride in creating personalised rehabilitation plans to help patients of all ages achieve their goals. Eddie's NHS experience allows us to offer a dedicated paediatric physiotherapy service at the Clinic for both Country Club members and non-members.

Emanuela Carinci

Sports Therapist & Rehabilitation Coach
Emanuela is a Sports Therapist and Rehabilitation Coach with a background as a professional volleyball player. Her athletic experience, combined with qualifications in fitness and personal training, gives her strong anatomical knowledge and expertise in exercise therapy. She has also worked as a physiotherapy assistant, supporting a wide range of clients.

Emanuela specialises in manual therapy and Sports Massage to relieve pain, tension and stiffness caused by stress, posture, work or sport. Her treatments support recovery by stimulating the circulatory and nervous systems, and she combines hands-on therapy with 1:1 exercise coaching for lasting results. She also offers targeted treatment for menopause symptoms.
Becky

Becky Oakley

Sports Therapist
Becky is a Sports Therapist with many years of experience, having worked within the NHS as a Physiotherapy Assistant as well as in the private sector with a diverse range of clients. Her expertise spans medical lymphatic drainage, for which she is LEDUC trained, supporting clients with lymphoedema, through to sports massage for athletes across a wide variety of sports.

Becky also offers Face Yoga Massage, including buccal massage, to support TMJ dysfunction and other stress-related conditions, including migraines. She has extensive experience working with both pre- and postnatal women, providing MOT-style assessments and realignment treatments, which she greatly enjoys.

In addition, Becky brings valuable experience in Laser Therapy and Red Light Therapy to the clinic. These advanced, non-invasive treatments are highly effective for cellular repair, healing, and pain relief, and are also utilised in collagen-restorative facial treatments.

Marika Mancino

Dietician
A Dietician, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Marika has been qualified for several years and is experienced working with a range of clients, from those wanting to have a healthier lifestyle, to those wanting to lose weight , suffering with menopause symptoms or people with medical conditions such as diabetes, Crohn’s disease, or IBS. Marika is passionate about working with people to help them find the right balance for wellness. Marika achieves this by utilising a very tailored and individualised, person-centred approach to work together with you to achieve your goals.

Dr. Ophelia Beer

Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Accredited Cognitive Analytic Therapist
Ophelia Beer is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Accredited Cognitive Analytic Therapist with 21 years’ experience in the NHS and private sector. She is Principal Clinical Psychologist for the Eating Disorders Service at Addenbrookes Hospital and was previously Therapy Lead at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Specialising in eating  disorders, Ophelia also has experience with depression, anxiety, phobias, OCD, addictions, and more.
She provides evidence-based, tailored therapy using Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), focusing on building a trusting, non-judgmental relationship to support change. Ophelia also supervises therapists, provides training, and presents at professional conferences.

Deb Armiger

Psychotherapist
Deborah is a qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). She offers a warm, confidential, and grounded space to explore life’s challenges at a comfortable pace. Working with adults and young people, Deborah supports a wide range of emotional and psychological issues including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, abuse, anger, health concerns, life transitions, stress, women’s issues, relationship difficulties, trauma, and self-esteem or confidence struggles. Whatever the reason for seeking support, Deborah provides empathy and non-judgemental listening. Drawing from various therapeutic approaches, she tailors treatment to individual needs, focusing on being truly seen and heard to enable healing, clarity, and personal growth.

Alison Wareham

Body Control Pilates Instructor
Is an accredited Body Control Pilates instructor who works with us at OneBody to provide specialist Pilates Classes. These classes are available to non-members and are bookable on a termly basis. Alison is passionate about Pilates and its  effectiveness for everyone. Alison worked as a specialist paediatric oncology nurse, keeping fit and active with dance and aerobics. However, she sustained an injury to her neck and arm, which affected her ability to exercise as she had done previously. Pilates allowed her to rehabilitate her body post-surgery and regain movement and strength. This made Alison want to teach Pilates to others. Alison enjoys teaching clients of all ages and abilities not to be frightened of using their bodies, to help increase their strength and explore a range of movement.

Luminita Andreescu

Acupuncturist
Luminita is a skilled acupuncturist trained at the International College of Oriental Medicine since 2020. She holds a BSc (Hons) and Licentiate in Acupuncture from the University of Greenwich and is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council. With over 40 years as a Registered Nurse and nearly 30 years as a Usui Reiki Master, she combines Western and Eastern medicine for holistic care. She specialises in pain relief, cancer support, women’s health and fertility, digestive health, mental well-being, cosmetic acupuncture, ear acupuncture for addictions and weight loss, and Reiki for mental health and phobias. Luminita also works with Acupuncturists Without Borders UK to support trauma recovery.
